The food is amazing!!! They have quite a range of menu items. Go with people you can share food with. That's how we were able to judge how great this food was! The chef came out to say hi and check on our food. Another cute thing about this place is his dad is the men's bathroom attendant. He's extremely sweet. The atmosphere, full service, and food were excellent. Whenever you're downtown and want a great experience, make your way to Barry's!

Food was so good, it's in old Las Vegas area. Parking is terrible. I love the serving , super attentive. Flavors were there, it's pricey but worth it. It reminds me of the 50s decor wise.

A group of us (4) had dinner here last week. The setting is beautiful. The service was as good as it gets. The food was only so-so (if the rating were only for the food, I would have given it a 3). I had the dry-aged rib-eye. For a "fancy" steakhouse, the steak was very disappointing. Only about a 1/4 inch think, it looks more like a steak from a diner than a nice steakhouse. The taste was okay. 3/5 The onion soup was the best thing I had (5/5). As good as french onion soup gets. Tater Tots (3/5) - Seemed like it was fried in some type of animal fat which left a bit of an odd, gamey taste to it. Creamed Corn (5/5) - Probably 2nd best item of the night. Mushrooms and Onions (3/5) - Good taste but way, way too salty. If other wanted to go back, I would not oppose, but given the # of options in Las Vegas, the food was definitely disappointing.

The food and overall experience was great but I did not like our table or the specific dining area we were sat in. As I expressed this to the server and manager I was given a business card from each of them and told to reach out for a better table. This felt sleezy to me and it came across as if they were hosts at a nightclub. The dining room had huge tv's on the wall and made me feel like I was in a bar. The menu is a bit pricier than the average steakhouse so I expected an elevated ambiance to match the high price point. I do not want to be cast in blue light as I eat a $100 piece of fish. I walked around the other dining rooms that were so beautiful and one even had a fake tree in the center. I feel like I would have had a totally different experience in a different dining room. With that being said our service was flawless. The food was really good and the drinks were great. I was talking to some people about how overpriced it was and was informed that a lot of VGK players go there so I think they just want to keep the average Joe out and make it more exclusive for professional athletes. That might also explain why the front dining area is sat more. They also brought us complimentary champagne toast for our anniversary and an espresso martini shot at the end when we said we were going to cart racing. The tableside bananas flambè was good but it wasn't on the menu and the $59 price tag was a bit shocking. It was a special occasion and I enjoyed our dinner but would not likely return.

The vibe is a perfect mix of old-school Vegas glamour and modern style, with . The steaks are top-notch, the seafood is super fresh, truffle mac and cheese and crab cakes are seriously addicting. The cocktails are just as good, adding to the whole classy but fun atmosphere. Service is always amazing and staff have a great knowledge of dishes if you have any questions.

What a wonderful experience! This was our first visit to Barry's Downtown Prime, and we were very pleased. Our server, Erick, and his assistant, Ben, were attentive, courteous, and personable. They made our experience even more enjoyable because they were so warm and cordial. The restaurant was clean and inviting, and the atmosphere was upbeat, but not too noisy. We started with nonalcoholic drinks (James and the Giant and Madonna of the Strawberries) which were delicious. We ordered the Roasted Bone Marrow as an appetizer. It was creamy and favorable. Our entree was the Rib Cap. We asked for medium rare plus, and it was perfect! The meat was very tender and had a wonderful taste. We also had the cream corn which was very good. For dessert, we had the carrot cake. It was huge, and very moist. The pineapple chutney added just the right amount of sweetness. We look forward to visiting Barry's again.
